The BIG Punters Club 2026 is a 30-week team-based competition where you and your mates compete for a massive jackpot, weekly bragging rights, and a full season of action across participating pubs.
SEASON DETAILS
- Season Start: April 11, 2026
- Final Round: November 7, 2026 (Stakes Day @ Flemington)
- Season Length: 30 weeks
- Team Size: 4–6 players
- Registration Fee: $100 per team, per week. ($3,000 total)
- Registration Cut-off: Before Round 1
HOW IT WORKS
1. Build Your Team
Grab 4–6 mates, nominate a Team Captain, and register your squad.
All players must be 18+
Nominate a Harvest venue as your home base
Email your completed registration form to punters@williamfarrerhotel.com.au
2. Pay Your Registration fees
Weekly fee is $100 per team ($3,000 across the full season)
Weekly Fees will go towards:
- $50 weekly bet
- $40 major prize pool
- $10 social events at your pub and Grand Final day get together
- Fee’s must be paid in advance each week to be eligible to place a bet
3. Place Your Weekly Bet
Each week your team places a $50 bet on eligible sports or racing.
- Bets must be placed in the pub
- TAB vouchers will be ready for collection by 10am Thursday each round
- Bets can be placed from Thur-Sun
- Betting slips must be returned to the pub staff for record-keeping
- Total winnings will be awarded at the end of the season
- Miss a week? You’re bet will be used by the Phantom, with the winnings added to the major prize pool.
4. Climb the Leaderboard
Leaderboard updates every Monday.
Every result counts.
Every week matters.
At the end of the season, the top 4 teams will win a share of the jackpot!
THE JACKPOT
There’s a minimum guaranteed jackpot of $10,000, with the total prize pool increasing as more teams join the competition – the bigger the comp, the bigger the payout. At the end of the season, the top 4 teams take home a share of the prize pool, so there’s plenty to play for right down to the final round.
The Jackpot will be divided across the top 4 teams:
- 1st Place — 55%
- 2nd Place — 25%
- 3rd Place — 15%
- 4th Place — 5%
MORE THAN A PUNT
It’s more than the weekly punt – it’s a full social season. Get the crew together, enjoy regular catch-ups, and be part of a competition that builds all the way to major events and the Grand Final Day. Along the way there’ll be merch giveaways, bonus prizes, and in-venue activations to keep things interesting.
